Ingredients

  • 2 oz Kahlúa
  • 2 oz homemade eggnog (or substitute your favorite store brand)
  • 1 oz vodka
  • 0.50 oz cinnamon syrup
  • Optional garnishes: ground cinnamon, cinnamon stick, star anise

Instructions

  1. Mix the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon in a shallow bowl for the cinnamon sugar rim.
  2. Dip the rim of a lowball glass into water, then into the cinnamon sugar mixture, and set aside.
  3. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and add the Kahlúa, eggnog, vodka, and cinnamon syrup.
  4. Shake for about 30 seconds or until the drink is thoroughly chilled.
  5. Strain the mixture into the prepared glass and add additional ice if desired.
  6. Garnish with a sprinkle of ground cinnamon, a cinnamon stick, or star anise.
