Ingredients

  • 2 shots brewed espresso
  • 1 cup ice
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate almond milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
  • Cocao nibs

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, whip the powdered sugar with the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Set aside.
  2. Brew 2 shots of espresso.
  3. Add 1 cup of ice to a large mason jar with a lid, then pour in the espresso. Shake vigorously for 30-60 seconds until the espresso becomes frothy and takes on a caramel color.
  4. Pour the shaken espresso, including the ice, into a serving glass.
  5. Add the dark chocolate almond milk to the glass.
  6. If using, top with the prepared whipped cream and sprinkle with cocao nibs.
  7. Stir while sipping and enjoy!
