Ingredients

  • 5 1/3 fl oz apple cider
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • Sparkling water or hard cider, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a one-gallon ice cream pail, combine the apple cider and brandy.
  2. Place the mixture in the freezer and chill for at least 8 hours, overnight, or up to a month in advance.
  3. Remove the slush from the freezer 1 - 2 hours before serving to allow it to melt slightly for easier scraping and serving.
  4. Add 1 cup of slush to a glass using a ladle.
  5. Top with sparkling water or hard cider, as desired.
