Ingredients

  • 3.20 oz strongly brewed coffee
  • 1 chai tea bag
  • 2 tsp honey (or pure maple syrup)
  • 1/5 tsp vanilla extract
  • 0.60 oz dirty chai syrup
  • 0.60 oz Kahlua
  • 0.60 oz vodka
  • 0.70 oz heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Prepare the dirty chai syrup by adding a chai tea bag to the freshly brewed coffee and letting it steep for 15 minutes.
  2. Remove the tea bag, then add honey and vanilla extract to the coffee and whisk together.
  3. Fill a short glass with ice.
  4. Pour in the dirty chai syrup, Kahlua, vodka, and heavy cream.
  5. Stir the ingredients together.
  6. Optionally, garnish with a star anise and cinnamon stick.
