Ingredients
- 2 3/4 cups cornflakes
- 3 cups whole milk
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons packed light brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 3 oz. cereal-infused milk
- 1 oz. bourbon
- 2 teaspoons confectioners' sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Grated nutmeg, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 300°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Spread the cornflakes on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15 minutes until lightly toasted.
- Let the cornflakes cool completely, then transfer them to a large pitcher.
- Whisk together the whole milk and heavy cream, then pour the mixture over the cornflakes in the pitcher, stirring to combine. Let it steep for 20 minutes at room temperature.
