Bourbon Flame Twist
A modern twist on the classic Manhattan cocktail, the Bourbon Flame Twist features bourbon, coffee liqueur, and a flamed orange peel for a sophisticated and flavorful experience.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Bourbon
- 1/2 oz Coffee liqueur
- 2 dashes Orange bitters
- 1 piece Orange peel (at least 1 inch in diameter)
Instructions
- In a mixing glass, combine the bourbon, coffee liqueur, and orange bitters.
- Add ice to the glass and stir to chill the mixture.
- Strain the cocktail into a pre-chilled cocktail glass.
- To flame the orange peel, hold it colored side down about two inches above a lit match and twist and squeeze it sharply over the match to ignite the oils.
- Once ignited, discard the orange peel and enjoy the cocktail.
