Ingredients

  • 2 oz Bourbon
  • 1/2 oz Coffee liqueur
  • 2 dashes Orange bitters
  • 1 piece Orange peel (at least 1 inch in diameter)

Instructions

  1. In a mixing glass, combine the bourbon, coffee liqueur, and orange bitters.
  2. Add ice to the glass and stir to chill the mixture.
  3. Strain the cocktail into a pre-chilled cocktail glass.
  4. To flame the orange peel, hold it colored side down about two inches above a lit match and twist and squeeze it sharply over the match to ignite the oils.
  5. Once ignited, discard the orange peel and enjoy the cocktail.
