Bizzy Pineapple Rye Highball
A refreshing and flavorful highball cocktail with rye whiskey, pineapple, and sherry, delivering a perfect blend of historical and modern mixology.
Ingredients
- 1 oz. fresh pineapple juice
- 1 oz. Amontillado sherry (preferably Lustau)
- 1 oz. rye whiskey
- 3/4 oz. fresh lemon juice
- 3/4 oz. simple syrup (1:1)
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- 1 oz. chilled club soda
- Lemon wheel (for serving)
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine fresh pineapple juice, Amontillado sherry, rye whiskey, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup, and a dash of Angostura bitters.
- Shake the ingredients until well chilled, for approximately 7 seconds.
- Place ice in a Collins or highball glass and pour chilled club soda over it.
- Strain the cocktail from the shaker into the glass.
- Garnish with a lemon wheel.
