Ingredients

  • 0.70 oz Kahlua
  • 3 oz banana syrup
  • 1 oz dark rum
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla ice cream
  • 1 slice banana and whipped cream, for garnish
  • BANANA SYRUP
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4- 1/2 cup sugar (depending on your sweet tooth)
  • 2 very ripe bananas, mashed

Instructions

  1. Prepare the banana syrup by heating the water and sugar until fully dissolved, then adding the mashed banana and stirring. Allow the mixture to cool, then strain the liquid and discard the solids. Store any leftover banana syrup in the fridge for up to a day.
  2. In a blender, combine Kahlua, banana syrup, dark rum, milk, and vanilla ice cream.
  3. Blend the ingredients until smooth and creamy.
  4. Pour the blended mixture into a milkshake glass.
