Ingredients

  • 2 large ice spheres
  • 2 ounces gin
  • 1/2 ounce Aperol
  • 6 juniper berries
  • 1 strip orange zest (3 inches long)
  • 6 - 8 ounces tonic water
  • A few drops of orange bitters
  • A few drops of Angostura bitters
  • 1 squeeze of lime
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary

Instructions

  1. Place two large ice spheres in a large glass.
  2. Pour the gin and Aperol over the ice.
  3. Add the juniper berries to the glass.
  4. Using a paring knife, cut a 3-inch strip of orange zest over the glass, rub the rim with the zest, and then place it in the glass.
  5. Slowly pour in the tonic water.
  6. Add a few drops of both orange and Angostura bitters.
  7. Garnish with a squeeze of lime and a sprig of fresh rosemary.
